Edy Kizaki
Team Leader - BuyerTours Realty
(206) 331-0152
Edy's perfectionism and dedication result in attention to detail during every stage of your search and purchase experience.
Edy and her family came to the area four years ago and fell in love with it. The size, natural beauty, people, culture and educational resources all make it an exceptional place to live, work, and play. Edy brings her experience in business, management and negotiation to her work in real estate. But it is her love of people and her joy in being involved with your important moments of change and decision in the process of life that make her dedicated and unfailing in the pursuit of your goals.
Edy's involvement in real estate began in the 1980's when she was part of a Project Development Team for a real estate company in San Francisco for two years. After having worked on several major San Francisco and Lake Tahoe projects, she became most interested in buying and leasing of properties, including sales of business opportunities. She was also the official company photographer. There followed a period of work in finance, but an interest in travel led her to Japan, where she lived and worked teaching in university for 12 years. In addition she founded and ran her own large private school and formed Currents, a group that produced art exhibitions in Japan, America, and Australia, and arranged tours of New York and on the West Coast.
Eventually Edy returned to Monterey, California, where she taught Japanese, designed instruction, was a project manager for multimedia products, a product developer for early childhood educational products, and helped manage a five-star resort hotel. Upon relocating to the Pacific Northwest with her family, she pursued her real estate license and is now deeply involved in helping her clients search for the perfect property in the local real estate market. When not at work, Edy practices Aikido and takes advantage of the local boating, picnicking and hiking riches with her family and friends. Oh, yes, and the great restaurants! |

Amy Kizaki
Realtor® / Buyer Specialist
(360) 220-1470
Amy Kizaki first came to real estate through her family, working with
her mother and another senior Buyer Tours agent while still in high
school in Bellingham. By previewing, photographing and showcasing
properties, doing extensive searches, and learning to deeply understand
a buyer's needs and how that translates into a successful search for
properties, Amy was well along the path to being an agent before she
graduated from high school! Backed up by her natural technological
know-how, her abilities soon made her highly productive in every aspect
of the job she undertook. She took on the duties of transaction
coordination which gave her an intimate knowledge of the legal aspects
of the purchase, the lending and escrow process, and how to avoid what
can go wrong, as well as to communicate with everyone involved in a real
estate transaction with utmost efficiency. She got her license to work
as an assistant but was so knowledgeable and powerful at meeting her
clients' criteria and goals that she quickly became a full fledged
agent. Her friendly nature and straightforward high energy approach make
her friends quickly, and she is now ranked second in the office in sales
productivity, a result of her ability to get what her clients want and
give them a great purchase experience in the process. Talk about a "real estate natural"! You're in good hands, whether you want a
knowledgeable guide to support you in your search or someone who can
explain and facilitate every aspect of the real estate process you are
about to undertake. According to Amy, it's not about selling you a
house, it's about finding you a home.
In her free time Amy likes to run, work out at the gym, and visit local
recreation spots (she enjoys snowboarding), as well as spend time in
Seattle and Vancouver, BC, the two world-class cities each within 90
minutes drive from Bellingham. A talented artist, she enjoys oil
painting and photography, and lives in a natural setting within 5
minutes walk of beautiful Lake Whatcom with her rag doll cat, Coco. |
